 I got a Twitter direct message yesterday from @phillipbroberts. I’ve known Phil for eons and eons in social networking and dog years. Which actually translates to about 18 months if you’re using the more traditional Gregorian calendar Phil has a 45 year old friend who needs a double lung transplant or is probably going to die in the not…  I was on Twitter yesterday minding my own business as much as I am ever likely to do when @norcross tweeted: “If your life sucks, then you suck” My immediate and somewhat flippant un-life coach like response was there must be a disproportionate amount of really sucky people in Haiti at the moment because a lot of peoples lives…  Saying you were going to tweet somebody at little as two years ago would have generated strange looks at best and probably got you arrested at worst. Now however, tweeting is de riguer and it seems anybody that is anybody (and their virtual assistant), are up to it. Twitter has gone from literally nowhere less than three years ago…  Before I get into today excellent guest post on a subject that has fascinated me for some while, I just wanted to share a thought or two with you. I had a couple of people contact me this week asking me to retweet their tweets on the situation in Haiti. They had written articles about how to help and…  When I got an e-mail from the occasionally provocative, often completely nuts and always amusing, CT Kingston, asking if I’d do a post on gratitude for Tweetsgiving, it took me about 3 seconds to decide I wanted to do it. As some clever soul once said: “Gratitude is the most fleeting of emotions” That is so true in my…  The Offer: Before I get into todays post I have a quick offer to throw out there for anybody that has been toying with hiring a life coach called Tim. As an after thought they’ll quite often point out they want to be a Life Coach, but only of course when they get their own life perfectly in order. It makes perfect sense when you think about it. Let’s face…  “You whiny little prick, who the fuck do you think you are?” Thus started a phone call from a life coaching client about 6 months ago. I listened fascinated by the stream of vitriol that then spewed forth from the guys mouth for the next couple of minutes. It was worth it though because I learned some juicy new… |
