 Everybody says first impressions are important, but are they really, and if so, why?  To get a firm grasp on what the young scallywag NLP is really all about you have to understand the presuppositions that it was built upon. There are as many of 27 presuppositions depending on where you look and who you listen to, but there are about a dozen or so that seem to make up the core and demonstrate the true philosophy. These are in effect, the belief system of NLP and it  I recently paid a visit to the new Whole Foods store that has opened on Sandlake Rd here in Orlando. As anybody that knows me will testify, I LOVE my food. I also like a wide variety of different types of food. Whole Foods has a huge selection gathered from not just all over the US, but also all over the world. It is in a lot of respects my idea of food heaven.  At the 1988 Calgary Olympics there was a guy representing the UK called Edward Edwards. Mr. Edwards was better known worldwide as Eddie The Eagle and he was the UK’s first, and to date, only Olympic Ski-jumper. Eddie had a chin that you could spear fish with, wore glasses that had the people working on the Hubble telescope drooling with envy and wasn’t exactly the best looking guy to ever grace planet earth either.  I watched the Vice-Presidential debate last night on TV and have to admit I was fascinated in a freak-show kind of way. Apparently it’s unwise to blog about politics unless you actually write a political blog, but politics is part of life and no matter how hard I try I can’t seem to ignore life with any measure of success.
