Today, I have a guest article posted on Writer Dad about the power of knowing your life’s purpose and I really hope you can spare the time to click though and read it.
Firstly, because I think you’ll enjoy it and there is an amazing story in there that shows all heroes aren’t well known or high profile. I can almost guarantee that you’ll never of heard of the guy in this post, but you will be uplifted by his story.
Secondly, Sean (Writer Dad) only gets about 4 readers per month and two of those are his elderly dog-named Rufus and his blind Grandmother. Together we can reduce the need for Granny and poor old Rufus with his arthritic paws to log on every morning to help Sean out.
Finally, it is the first part of an exciting (honest) three-parter on the Triple Crown of Self Development. By the end of the series you’ll know exactly what’s needed to walk on water, breath fire and perform alchemy. Well possibly not all those, but you should be on your way to doing some cool stuff.
I know many of you read via e-mail and unnecessary click throughs can be tiring and bothersome, but I guarantee you will love the article. In fact, if you click though and don’t like it;
I promise to give you your money back tenfold.
Here’s the opening few lines:
Do you have some massive goals and dreams? I mean the big muvva’s that leave other people snickering or saying you need put the crack pipe down and return to reality at your soonest convenience? Do you want to be the first person on Mars, run a mile in under three and a half minutes, or discover the cure for cancer?
Huge goals are great, and I applaud you for having them, but if you’re going to achieve them you need a bit more than the ability to sit and daydream. You’re going to need plenty of self-confidence, a belief that you can do whatever it is you want to do and possibly the most important of all, a sense of purpose. Why it is you want to achieve whatever it is.
It’s a sense of purpose that drives the truly great……..Click here to read more.

Kitchen Table Medicine is a brilliant resource for honest, no nonsense and practical advice on maintaining a healthy lifestyle without pumping your body full of chemicals. If you’ve ever wondered how butterflies come to be and how that translates into overcoming fear (and let’s face it, who hasn’t?), then this is the post for you.
PS – Look, you try and find a picture of a bone fide porpoise, they’re thin on the ground you know. So my buddy Donny Dolphin allowed me to use this recent vacation snap. He was eaten by a killer whale minutes later, but he had a good innings and no doubt enjoyed all the fish.
PPS – I’ve closed comments because I’d rather you comment on Seans site. Think of poor old Rufus.
