There are lots of changes going on behind the scenes here at the moment. The result will be a new blog design, new domain name and sadly, the demise of the cartoons I have been using for the last 18 months or so.
The style of writing will NOT change (stop groaning at the back!), but I really want to generate some actual clients from my blog rather than relying so heavily on referral work as I do now.
There are too many mixed messages here for new readers and I have a feeling some first time visitors that may be looking to hire a Life Coach think I don’t take what I do very seriously.
The fact is, I take Life Coaching and my clients needs very seriously indeed. It’s life that I don’t take so seriously, but I throughly understand why people may not realize that from my blog.
I have also been charging a lot less than most life coaches with my level of experience and proven results, so my prices are going up too when the new site launches. This will also allow me to dedicate some more time to the How To Be Rich and Happy project without wondering if I can pay the rent!
With all that in mind, I’m wondering if you want $2,000 worth of free life coaching?
Whether you or somebody you know would like to work with me for 6 months and not pay a Penny, Peso or Euro?
I’m not going to say any more here other than my head is going on the block. So if you’re interested and you really want to take your life to the next level, then check out Free Life Coaching Offer at How To Be Rich and Happy.
CLOSING DATE IS APRIL 5TH 2010

I’m going to break with tradition here and be serious – coaching with Tim is an awesome experience.
I did it around this time last year, and honestly, felt a bit bad a couple of months ago, because although I did feel more confident and better at articulating my goals and working towards things that made me happy, pretty much I was still just a stay at home mom who blogged a bit.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, but have you seen Tim’s client list? Damn you Johnny B Truant for making me look like a slacker!!! ;-p
Then at the end of last year/beginning of this one, my life took a freakishly bizarre turn for the worse. I won’t give details for family privacy but I can save without reservation that anyone would have found the situation a nightmare.
I do credit Tim’s coaching for helping me develop the skills I needed (and more importantly to KNOW I had them) to get through that period and now that it’s over and we have a financial mess to sort out (tragedy being extremely expensive) I was able to jump right into freelancing once my situation stabilized and am juggling that and raising my children and being an awesome person.
So yes, coaching really is worth it and I urge anyone who is interested to apply to take Tim up on his offer.
***feel like I should insert Tim is bald and a limey punk joke here so as not to feel like a swoony fangirl***
I’ve never thought your writing style was some how drawing away from what you do but what do I know, if fact seriously if I could afford it I would hire you in a second. I look forward to your postings no matter what form they take, and I hope I didn’t scare you with my teasing, super secret cyber crush. You’re a fantastic writer and I’m enjoying your book very much. I really loved your images too, whoever did them is also very talented.
Regards
Erin
Really hope the changes bring about the kind of thing you’re looking for Tim. I’ll always be a loyal follower
Phew! I was worried for a second you might change your writing style!
I personally have a problem with using stories in my writing, and I turn to your writings for inspiration!
One of the things I would like to see you mention in your posts is what life coaching looks and feels like. I hear about it a lot, but not sure what it involves. It also helps to point out why people would need life coaching when they’ve got the information they need already. Again, this was something that was holding me back from ever considering life coaching for a loong time!
If we really want to be honest with ourselves, we have to acknowledge that blog posts – on their own – don’t bring about lasting change. Sure, we might be influenced by a blog post here and inspired by a blog post there. But working with someone else and having the material we need arranged sequentially and ensuring that we do more than read it is what brings about change.
I wish you all the best and look forward to the changes you’ll be making (as long as I know your style will remain the same).
Haider
@ Tracey – Swoony fangirl is great I want more swoony fangirls please.
@ Erin – LOL, nah it takes a lot more than that to scare me. Thanks for the kind words.
@ Ben – Thanks mate!
@ Haider – Of course you’re right. The information at an intellectual level is useless on it’s own, it’s the application that matters.
I’m hoping to start doing some case studies in the next few weeks. I have one ready to run next week hopefully. Not sure how it will be met by my readers, but Happy to give it a go.
Thanks for the feedback!

I just want to say that I think this is one of the better coaching blogs out there and since my company runs the Best Coaching Blogs contest annually, I’ve read quite a few.
Suggestion: Why not have 2 coaching blogs? One with your awesome cartoons and wit, the other targeted at people who are looking for a life coach?
BTW, from a marketing standpoint, a blog is just one step in the relationship process that pulls new clients toward you. I suspect this blog may be working for you better than you realize. You may just need to add in the other steps that can bring a potential client to the point of saying, ‘Yes! I want to work with you.’
