These are some of the books that have influenced me the most. They aren’t all purely life coaching books but they do all contain valuable information for improving your life by getting you to think differently.
| The Maverick Mindset by Dr John Eliot |

To hear me recommending this book to anybody that cares to listen you would think I was on John Eliot’s pay roll. Well unfortunately I am not, but this is a brilliant audio book that is in my top 1 of all time and has so many inspiring stories that you will want to listen to it again and again and then probably again. |

| How To Be A Complete & Utter Failure…. by Steve McDermott |
| |
THE best single cd I have ever heard about breaking self-limiting beliefs. Steve McDermott has got fantastic timing and will have you laughing out loud on the live version. I don’t know anybody that has heard this that didn’t think it was fantastic. |

| The Success Principles by Jack Canfield |
| |
One of my true ‘A-Ha!’ moments. This is almost flawless with its delivery and message. It basically says ‘It’s your life so take responsibility. Canfield is famous for brining the world the Chicken Soup For The Soul books with Mark Victor Hansen. This is much better in my humble opinion and Jack Canfield is a genuinely inspiring person. If you prefer books then this is one that is equally as effective in print. |

| Blink by Malcolm Gladwell |

If you want to understand the power of the unconscious mind then buy the book or better still the unabridged cd version. Some fascinating stories and insight into how sometimes our rapid decision-making can be more accurate than when we try to over-analyze.

| The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People by Stephen R Covey |
| |
A seminal work that is a good as you heard it was. Don’t just regurgitate the usual quotes, go and read or listen to the book, then revisit it again until you really understand it. I promise you will be a better person for it. Don’t be tempted to go for the abridged version. |

| Wherever You Go, There You Are by Jon Kabat-Zinn |
| |

If you want to know what meditation is all about then this classic book is for you. It really isn’t to everybody’s tastes as it is slanted heavily towards Buddhism but if you can read it with an open-mind then I think it will be a very worthwhile experience.
