![]() If you’re anything like me, and the rest of the human race come to think of it, you’re probably bombarding yourself with a constant stream of questions, all day, every day. You have between 50,000 and 60,000 thoughts per day and if you think about it, a great deal of those will be questions. Hopefully you aren’t one of the many people that asks yourself things like “Why am I such a loser?” and ![]() Does it strike you as somewhat weird that with all the tools at our disposal to help productivity so many people still struggle to get everything done in the day? Wouldn’t you think with iPhones, broadband access, IM, e-mail, web conferencing and the like we’d save so much time our main concern would be whether to play golf, lie by the pool or just sit and count our piles of cash? Yet it seems ![]() About two months ago I was sent a book to review called ‘Scratch Beginnings’ by Adam Shepherd. It wasn’t the kind of book I’m used to receiving because it wasn’t really about coaching or self-development. Actually on reflection maybe it was about self-development, but not in the traditional sense. I took the book with me on my last trip back to the UK and thoroughly enjoyed the read finishing it in two days, something ![]() At the 1988 Calgary Olympics there was a guy representing the UK called Edward Edwards. Mr. Edwards was better known worldwide as Eddie The Eagle and he was the UK’s first, and to date, only Olympic Ski-jumper. Eddie had a chin that you could spear fish with, wore glasses that had the people working on the Hubble telescope drooling with envy and wasn’t exactly the best looking guy to ever grace planet earth either. ![]() About 6 years or go I was attending a sales presentation given by God. I say God, it may not technically have been the God, but it was by somebody that seemed to think he was God and he was certainly very senior in our company. After a rather tedious hour or so the guy asked if anybody had any questions. In between stabbing forks into my leg to stay awake and trying to Use NLP’s anchoring to help you move into a state of instant confidence ![]() I’m going to wrap up the whole goals and New Year resolutions thing today before I drag it on for so long that you’re distracted by thoughts of who to invite round for Thanksgiving dinner. I suspect that if you really intend making positive changes this year you’ve already begun to do so. If that is the case, I hope things are going humdingingly well for you.
